"THREE ACTIVE DAYS ON FESTUNGSFRONT ODER-WARTHE-BOGEN" s a trip prepared for people who like to take on a challenge. The former Fortified Front Oder-Warthe-Bogen is just the prefect challenge. It is located away from big cities, amongst lakes and rivers, hidden between forests and hills of Western Polish. It attracts more than just military hobbyists. The region is home to many species of animals and birds, and the beautiful landscapes work like a tourist magnet, perfect for hikers, cyclists, paddlers, photographers and hunters

The trip programme is split into two parts: the over ground and the underground.

To get the most out of our trip, the over ground part of the trip will be explored on quad bikes. Riding a quad bike is great fun! If you have not tried driving one - do it! You do not need a driving license to drive a quad bike, only a five minute training course.

The harder part, will be exploring the underground. For eight hours, we will venture down to the network of underground tunnels. There used to be an operating railway system down here that carried supplies and ammunition to the connected bunkers. Along the way we will see underground stations, barracks and a few well-preserved bunkers.

Every evening, there is a large feast or campfire with lots of food for all guests to enjoy. On the last day before departure there is one more activity awaiting us: a visit to a shooting range. Everyone will undergo training on how to use many different types of weapons and, of course, will be able to immediately try out their shooting skills.

PROGRAMME:

Day 1 Friday:

Meet and pick up from the airport. Check in at a hotel and lunch. Quad bike ride to the over ground bunkers and other Fortified Oder- Warthe-Bogen locations. This will take approx. 4 hours. In the evening, dinner by the campfire.

Day 2 Saturday:

After breakfast, we set of to the underground ground Fortified Front Oder-Warthe-Bogen. This will take approximately 8 hours. During this, a guide will take us into parts of the Fortified Front Oder-Warthe-Bogen that are rarely seen by tourists. For lunch, we will have food prepared by the hotel we will stay in. After our return, we will have supper with a buffet.
